It was a very long weekend and also very tiring. To start off i took the baby monitor Friday night so i could wake up with Jake and let Amanda sleep in. Jake decided to wake up at... 5:30am! Yup. Early morning start for me!
I was right about what me and Amanda ended up doing Friday night haha. We did our girl talk for a few hours and were going to watch Texas Chain Saw Massacre:The Next Generation except she fell asleep so i kicked her upstairs. Oh and btw it was not scary at all! The only scary part in there was Matthew McConaughey b'cos he can be a creepy fucker! Wow he was psychotic!
Saturday Amanda and I took the boys up to Nick's school so we could wear Jake out. It worked though he fell off his scooter 2 times and yelled/cried a bit. Amanda got Jake to sleep till 7am (Sunday), lucky bitch! Also that night i found out that USA were doing a Pirates of the Caribbean night! They played all 3! :-) We have the 1st one so i recorded the last 2 and watched them last night. It was a good night.
Today i honestly thought i was going to lose my mind. Jake was having a bad morning! It was bad! He was just getting so upset over nothing in particular.
BUT the good news is i made it through the weekend. Still have 2 brothers and 1 dog. I think i did a pretty good job!
Anyway that was my weekend! Was yours any better?
Tonight made up for my crappy weekend, i got to talk to Josh on MSN and talked to my dad on the phone for a little bit.
Short week this week! Thanksgiving is on Thursday and on Wednesday i will have been in America for a YEAR!! This past year has gone by so quick and i have experienced so much! I am very grateful to be here.
We're having Thanksgiving here so i can escape to my room if i need to haha but we have no idea how many people will actually come over!
Cannot wait to put up the Christmas tree and go Christmas tree hunting again! Hopefully i can do that again. Last year i got to go with my Uncle Gary to cut down his Christmas tree and it was fun!
