Well this is sort've a reply to Elena and her blog.. Back home in NZ our school systems we're very different so...

Pre-School::
Year 1.. aged 4

Primary School::
Year 2.. aged 5
Year 3
Year 4
Year 5
Year 6

Intermediate::
Year 7 - 3rd Form.. aged 11
Year 8 - 4th Form

High School::
Year 9 - 3rd Form.. First year of high school, aged 13
Year 10 - 4th Form
Year 11 - 5th Form
Year 12 - 6th Form
Year 13 - 7th Form.. Last year of high school, aged 18/19

When you get into Intermediate we start calling it forms (not sure why..?) so i left school in 6th form and didnt complete my final year.. Another thing with Intermediate is that those 2 years can actually be done in primary schools.. You can actually be in pre-school when your 3.. This is just the years i can remember..

Hope i didnt confuse anyone!
